  1. In 2011 were were reffed out the game by a NZ ref. Then Joubert cheated in the final. So our 1/4 final in the world cup will be hectic. Aus won't be allowed to lose so best we play NZ. Everyone moans about Sam Cane being sent off but Bongis deliberate injury had a far bigger effect. I think after 10 minutes in a game someone from each side should be able to speak to the ref if there are transgressions

  2. The feeling I got over the last few seasons is that our SA teams prioritise the URC and not as much the Investec Cup. We seem to field weaker teams for Investec Cup games? Or we play our best teams for URC games and then "rest" them for Investec games? Then if you look at teams like Leinster, their team is loaded with their national players and they play them most of the games. We have some Bok players in our teams, but many more play overseas in europe and Japan. If our bok/best players all played in SA in our franchises things would change quite a bit! But doubt it will change.

  3. That was awesome! Love SA rugby culture. Great players, great people, great history. Champions cup is the business. Already a part of our great pedigree and heritage. Time for the sa public to get behind the comp and time for a SA franchise to win it!! Happy days!!

  4. Delusional to think SA teams can win the Champions cup, we haven't even been to a semi playing against the best clubs in the world. Remember the URC is a third tier comp playing against welsh and struggling irish clubs with no money, so it's impossible for SA teams to beat French and English clubs away

  5. I really hope Ma’a stays on for a bit longer I was listening to Trevor and he was talking about what a massive impact Ma’a is having on the young backs at the Sharks. That’s only going to be a net positive for the Springboks.
Jurenzo Julius’ development is going to be critical for the Boks post 2027.

  6. Great conversations guys! I just wonder why our currie cup teams (Griquas, Boland, Pumas and even Varsity Cups) can't bolster the Champions Cups teams so that the Bulls, Stomers, Lions squads can tackle both the URC and Champions Cup without burning out towards the end of the comp

  7. The SA blindness is definitely the modern disease on which all scientists in the world should work on.
We talk about teams which play in the third league in Europe and never been able qualified for a semi in ChampionsCup and a regularly smashed by English and French teams but you have a demential Keo who dares claiming about a future win this year and a victory of Lions against the best club of all time.
Obviously your fake predictions the previous years where you were wrong about absolutely everything don't make you more humble or lucid about the poor level of your rubbish franchises, don't worry that many teams will have the pleasure to remind you it.
